Protect Yourself from Cancer/Heart Attack/Stroke Expenses
Millions of Americans are Affected by Cancer Yearly. In the US, 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will develop cancer. We have all had friends or family who have dealt with Cancer.
Your Medicare or your health insurance covers some of the costs of Cancer, but not all. With Medicare Advantage plans you will probably have charges for the following:
Dr Visits
Chemotherapy and radiation treatment
Hospitalization/Skilled Nursing
Emergency Room
Observation
Physical Therapy
Mental Health Counseling
Medications
Outpatient Surgery
MRI/CAT Scans
To name a few. A Supplemental Cancer policy can cover all those costs so you have no uncovered out-of-pocket expenses.
Medicare Supplements give your more coverage with copays and coinsurance but you will most likely have medication costs. But those are only the health care expenses covered in part or whole by your insurance.
What if you are out of work due to the illness?Or unable to carry out your normal daily activities without help? Or need to pay for in-home care? Or need to travel for cancer treatment in another city? Or need to have meals delivered? Or have transportation costs to and from treatment? Or need to pay for family members travel to and from your home
Healthcare costs are only a percentage of Cancer treatment costs. National averages say that Out of Pocket costs associated with a new diagnosis is as high as $8,115 per year for people over 50 who have no supplemental insurance.
Solution
Depending on your age, you can apply for a Cancer Policy that will pay from $5,000 to $100,000 if you receive a first diagnosis for internal cancer. Upon diagnosis you would receive a check for the insured amount. If you have a $30,000 policy, your check would be $30,000.
You can also add Heart Attack and Stroke coverage to your Cancer policy. You could have policy amounts for each.
Premiums for these policies are reasonable. If you want to protect your finances and have peace of mind, call us to see if you qualify.
